About our Short Courses

The University of Southern Mississippi and the School of Polymer Science and Engineering offer short courses that provide participants with a thorough and immersive learning experience. Led by faculty members, these courses aim to challenge participants and expand their knowledge of the coatings industry. The courses are designed to be in-depth and cover the most challenging aspects of the industry, allowing participants to gain a deep understanding of the subject matter. Our goal is to develop courses containing relevant scientific knowledge for understanding and expanding the science and technology of polymers, coatings, paints, inks, adhesives, and related nano-based materials.

Since 1972, the Waterborne Symposium and faculty of the school have been dedicated to providing solutions to the toughest problems facing the coatings industry.
